It was a night to remember at the annual gala hosted by Glenn’s pharmacy school in 2014. That’s where Cindy, then a student at a different pharmacy school in Dallas, met her soulmate. As part of the fashion show, Cindy and Glenn were paired together and discovered a deep connection as they danced down the runway in traditional Nigerian attire. The chemistry was undeniable, and their friends and family couldn’t help but notice.
Even after the event, people kept asking about the couple that seemed so meant to be. It wasn’t until the next day that Glenn made good on his promise to call Cindy, marking the beginning of a daily conversation streak that has continued to this day. What made these moments even more meaningful was the fact that it coincided with Father’s Day – a first for my dad, who had the honor of walking his daughter down the aisle on that special day.
